Korra is a custom-made denim brand dedicated to crafting the perfect pair of jeans - built to last, made to fit, and designed for mindful living. To bring Korra’s philosophy of craftsmanship and individuality to life, we created Friends of Korra - a video portrait series spotlighting experts in their fields, from chefs to interior designers. Each story subtly paralleled Korra’s own ethos: high-quality, made-to-measure denim created with care and originality.
Creative Concept
The series celebrated people who work with intention and mastery - much like Korra does with denim. Through quiet, observational storytelling, we connected their craft to Korra’s values of precision, process, and timeless design.
My Role
Led the creative development from concept to completion. This included storyboarding each episode to shape the narrative flow, briefing the videographer to align on visual tone and framing, and overseeing the final edits to ensure consistency with Korra’s brand identity and storytelling standards.
As a brand rooted in craftsmanship and custom-made clothing, Bombay Shirt Company wanted to take audiences beyond the finished garment and into the heart of its operations. The result was Meet the Makers, a provenance-led video series that put the spotlight on the real people behind the shirts - the skilled individuals working behind the scenes.
Creative Concept
Each episode featured tailors to pattern makers - sharing their story and role in the shirt-making process. The goal was to humanize the brand, build trust, and celebrate the hands behind the craft.
My Role
As Art Director, I led the overall visual and narrative approach — overseeing concept development, set and shot planning, styling, on-set framing, and the final look and feel of the series. I worked closely with the videographer to ensure each frame reflected the brand’s premium-yet-human tone.
I'm always open to cooperation, so don't hesitate to send me your project details. Let's create something great together!
